Fascias and soffits are the boards running along the edge of your roof. The fascia holds your guttering in place and the soffit seals the underside and lets air move through the loft, keeping damp at bay.
Once they rot, the damage spreads. Gutters sag as the timber softens. Rainwater runs down your brickwork instead of away from it. Birds slip through gaps and begin to nest. Peeling paint and dark staining beneath the gutter line are the early warnings worth acting on.
Fascias, soffits and guttering are fitted as one complete system, so water is carried cleanly away from your walls and the whole roofline stays sound for decades.
Choosing a roofer comes down to trust. You are letting someone onto your property and asking for an honest answer about what your roof really needs.
Most of our work still comes from recommendations and repeat customers across Tipton and the West Midlands.

EPDM rubber roofing has no seams to split and handles British weather far better than traditional felt, making it a strong choice for extensions, garages and dormers. As Firestone installers, it is what we fit most often.
